Process flow — from yarn to shelf

Raw material selection: polyester knit yarn + sherpa fibers (supplier QC: incoming inspection, batch traceability).

Knitting & cutting: circular knit machines → pattern cutting (CNC for repeatability).

Sewing & lining: overlock + topstitching, sherpa lamination for warmth.

Finishing: label attach, custom printing, packing.

Testing & QA: colorfastness (AATCC 61), pilling ≤ grade 3, dimensional stability shrinkage ≤ ≈3%.

To be honest, the testing standards vary by vendor. Top factories will report ISO 9001 quality systems, OEKO-TEX or REACH compliance and show lab results on colorfastness and flammability. It seems many customers especially care about pilling and seam strength — small dogs are relentless, apparently.
